An experienced cyclist himself, Adam loves helping others experience the joys of bike riding. He greatly values the mental health effects of cycling, and sees access to cycling opportunities as a social justice issue that he can affect. Adam is a safe cycling instructor for the Making Tracks program in Nova Scotia, and is proud that his work has led to over 13,000 youth taking Making Tracks Training. He and his coordinator Julian West oversee the training and support of over 800 leaders in schools and community organizations around the province who deliver the training to children and youth. Adam also coordinates a very new program called “Welcoming Wheels” which aims to match refugees with bikes, safety gear, and ongoing training.
