Biography

On may 7th we are coming together to make our cycling community more accessible and we need you to help make that happen. Cycling groups are often disconnected from each other and alienated from other community groups. We are connecting shops, cyclists, stakeholders, industry leaders, clubs and more from across the Atlantic Provinces for a day of constructive dialogue, networking and community building. We are stronger together!

We are looking for panelists, speakers, and workshop facilitators to shape our discussion. It will be a unique opportunity for participants to meet, share and collaborate on all things cycling and how we can overcome barriers that we face in building clean, healthy, active communities connected by bikes.

ACCESS is centered around community building aims to : develop and strengthen community connections, create dialogue and shape the development of the cycling community as a whole across the Atlantic provinces.

We look forward to submissions that will focus on collaborative methods of working together, making cycling accessible to all, creating positive relations betweens shops, cyclists and community groups of different backgrounds, cultivating a welcoming space for marginalized and underrepresented groups and generating a positive attitude towards cycling in your community.

Session selections are based on the strength of fit with the objectives of the festival + summit, so please provide as much information as possible. If you wish to submit more than one idea, please complete this form for each new proposal.

Deadline for submissions, MARCH 5th, 2017.
